During the grooming process all care is taken to ensure the health of your pet is considered. Canine Coiffure is not liable for any pre-existing conditions and problems found during grooming. Any advice given regarding health problems should be checked out by a vet.
The grooming services listed on our website that we provide do not include de-matting services unless specifically agreed. If whilst grooming your dog we discover that your dog’s coat is matted, you have the following two options:
(a) De-matt your dog yourself. You can collect your dog either un-groomed or partially groomed (dependant on the time the matts are discovered), and book another appointment when your dog’s coat is completely free from matts. If you opt to de-matt your dog’s coat yourself, you will be required to pay for the portion of the groom that was completed prior to you collecting your dog.
(b) We de-matt your dog for an additional fee. You can instruct us to de-matt your dog’s coat. We de-matt by clipping the dog’s coat off completely, close to the dog’s skin, for an additional fee to the regular grooming fee as listed on our website.
Missed appointments will incur a fee of 50% of the standard grooming charge . This also applies to cancellations with less than 24 hours notice given.
We make every effort to safeguard the well-being of your pet whilst in our care, and to provide you with an exemplary service. Regretfully, despite our best efforts there may be occasions when a customer is unhappy with some aspect of our services. In these circumstances we appreciate the opportunity to put things right and will use our best efforts to resolve your complaint.
Time limits for informing us of a complaint. Any complaints or concerns about the standard of the grooming or the welfare of your pet should be made at the time of collection or on the next working day following your appointment. Please inspect your dog’s coat thoroughly on collection and let us know if you have any concerns or complaints.
Right to repeat performance. If we agree that we have not carried out our services with reasonable care and skill, or not performed them in accordance with any information that we have supplied you with, we will:
(a) perform the service again, to the extent necessary to fulfil our part of the contract, at no extra charge (if possible) at a mutually convenient time; or
(b) offer you a price reduction of an appropriate amount; or
(c) refund all or part of your money.
Please make sure your dog has relieved itself prior to grooming.
